The 54-hole stroke play event, with a cut to the leading 25 professionals and ties after 36 holes, will provide another opportunity for professional golfers to compete on the official feeder tour to the LET. It will feature a purse of €25,000, with €3,387.50 for the winner.
The tournament has been organised in partnership with the French Federation (ffgolf), who also operated the successful GENERALI Ladies Tour in 2010 as well as the Open de France Féminin. Together with partners like ffgolf, the LET Access Series continues to expand, providing more playing opportunities for female golf professionals who are unable to participate in regular LET events and for those who would like to continue playing during scheduled LET break periods.
The announcement of the fourth LETAS event on the schedule continues the momentum for the organisation. The Terre Blanche Ladies Open and Dinard Ladies Open were played in April and the La Nivelle Ladies Open in June concluded a successful opening series for the inaugural GENERALI Ladies Tour, which forms part of the LET Access Series. In addition, LETAS is to add another new tournament to its 2010 schedule in the near future.
