Julie Maisongrosse in just her second year as a professional, had set the early clubhouse lead, adding a one over par 71 to her fine 64 in the 1st round to lie at 5 under par. Marieke Nivard from the Netherlands shot a second round 72 to occupy third place at 2 under.
A further shot back at 1 under par is promising young rookie, France’s Lucie Andre with rounds of 69 and 70.
39 players made the cut for the final day, which fell at 9 over par. Play commences at 9am for the third round of the La Nivelle Ladies Open.
