LETAS’ BOSIO SECURES FIRST PROFESSIONAL VICTORY AT NARRABI

Bosio

LETAS player Justice Bosio has claimed her maiden professional victory, pulling away from the field to win the 2026 Ford Women’s NSW Open Regional Qualifier at Narrabri Golf Club.

The 21-year-old Queenslander delivered a composed two-under final round in windy conditions, enough to finish at four-under for the tournament and five shots clear of the chasing pack. It marks a strong response after the title slipped from her hands in a playoff last week in Dubbo.

Bosio finished her rookie season on LETAS in ninth spot on the Order of Merit, heartbreakingly 128.41 points away from an automatic LET card for the 2026 season.

It was an impressive debut year for Bosio who recorded eight top 10 finishes including three runner up positions.

At Narrabri, Bosio was electric early carding four birdies on the front nine to build a lead she never looked likely to surrender.

Speaking after the win, Bosio said the breakthrough felt long overdue.

“Yeah, it is really exciting. It’s good to finally get a win under my belt after just over a year of being pro. I asked Amelia on the last hole, I had a feeling that I probably played pretty well. It was quite windy out there, and I feel like I just played really solid.”

“She let me know that I had a five-shot lead, so I felt a little bit calmer coming down the last.”

Bosio said the relaxed dynamic in her group helped keep the day flowing.

“Yeah, it’s really good. I think it’s just really comfortable having all of them around, good to have a good chat and laugh with everyone while we’re out there and keep it pretty calm.”

Bosio was also the only player in the field to finish under par for the week, crediting her home course for preparing her for Narrabri’s challenges.

“I’m from Caboolture Golf Club, we don’t have the best greens, we don’t have the best surrounds. So I think just learning to play on a course like that, and coming out here, I kind of feel a little bit at home just knowing how to play off some interesting lies.”

The win also comes at a crucial time, with Bosio heading to LET Q-School next.

“Yeah, it’s good. I feel like my game’s trending. I’ve been working really hard with my coach, I think I’m excited to get Q-School underway.”

Before that, there’ll be a long drive home to Brisbane—and some celebrations.

“Yeah, we are driving back tonight. I’ll probably go out with my family for dinner tomorrow night. They’ll be really excited to see me when I get home.”

South Australian Caitlin Peirce, last year’s Narrabri winner, finished second at one-over par. Western Australia and fellow LETAS rookie Abbie Teasdale shared third place with Hannah Reeves and LETAS’ Kristalle Blum.

Teasdale and Peirce both secured coveted qualifying spots for the 2026 Ford Women’s NSW Open at Wollongong Golf Club.

Caitlin Peirce & Abbie Teasdale have locked away their spots at the 2026 Ford Women’s NSW Open.

Teasdale said the result was a welcome lift after a challenging year.

“No, it feels good. It’s been a tough year, so I’m glad to finish on a high. I holed a few more putts. Yesterday I couldn’t hole a thing. I just tried to stay calm and play with the wind and be patient.”

Having played the Women’s Open last year, she’s eager to return.

“It was really nice, so I’m glad to be doing it again.”

Bosio will head straight to Final Qualifying in Marrakech after earning an exemption by placing in the top 32 on the LETAS Order of Merit.
