After a fantastic week in France, the LET Access Series (LETAS) now heads to Czechia for the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge starting on the 14th of June.
Last year Spain’s Marta Martin made a splash (literally) when she was the only player to navigate the tricky conditions and finish under par on final day.
In this year’s edition, 132 players will tee it up at the stunning Panorama Golf resort in a bid to be crowned a champion.
Before play gets underway, here are some talking points about this week….
MACKOVA MAKING HER PROFESSIONAL DEBUT
Patricie Mackova, the two-time lowest scoring amateur at the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge and last year’s second runner-up is returning to the tournament as a professional.
Last week’s Montauban Ladies Open was Mackova’s debut where she finished tied 21st.
If that result is anything to go by, then Mackova is one to look out for this week as she plays on friendlier territory.
29 CZECH PLAYERS TEEING IT UP AT CZECH LADIES CHALLENGE
This year sees a total of 29 Czech players vying for victory at home.
Seasoned professionals Sideri Vanova and Katerina Vlasinova will be there alongside the best of Czechia’s talented amateurs.
Two-time Ping Junior Solheim Cup and 2023 Czech International Amateur Championship winner, Denisa Vodickova is also in the field.
Vodickova has earned an exemption into the LPGA’s 2024 CPKC Women’s Open after her victory in the individual section of the World Junior Girls Golf Championship so this tournament will be a great test of her game.
CAN BRIEM REIGN SUPREME AGAIN?
The 2023 Montauban Ladies Champion, 18-year-old amateur Helen Briem has little time to celebrate her first victory at a professional event.
On Sunday, Briem stole the show firing the lowest round of the day, 69 to come out on top, one week after losing out on a LET win to Perrine Delacour.
The German player now travels to Prague to see if she can make it two in a row.
Briem is the highest ranked player in the LETAS Order of Merit competing this week.
The two-time Ping Junior Solheim Cup winner will look to close the gap on Sweden’s Anna Magnusson with the Terre Blanche Ladies Open winner competing in Italy on the LET.

As for this week’s venue, Panorama Golf Resort, located in Kacov, just outside Prague offers pedigree having hosted the Challenge tour as well in 2023.
A panoramic par 72 course boasting of 5730 metres, this is the second time the venue will host the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge.
