Viva Schlasberg (SWE) and Melanie Maetzler (SWI)
Switzerland’s Melanie Maetzler and Viva Schlasberg of Sweden, joined each other for a practice round before the start of the Ribeira Sacra Patrimonio de la Humanidad International Ladies Open in Panton, Spain.
It was a well organised day on the course, both players combining their preparations for the event with watching their teams compete in the World Cup in Russia, via a streaming service on Maetzler’s smartphone.
Predictions for the final result were worlds apart with Schlasberg suggesting Sweden would win by a 4-0 margin. Maetzler went for a 3-1 in favour of Switzerland. We will wait and see who will be the winning team.
