This week marks the start of the ‘Swedish Swing’ on the LET Access Series (LETAS). For the next three weeks, the Tour will travel across Sweden starting at Linkoping and finishing in Vasteras.
All the events are co-sanctioned with the Ahlsell Nordic Golf Tour but the format this week is a bit different so here’s everything you need to know about this week’s event, the PGA of Sweden Championship Landeryd….

The event is co-sanctioned between the LET Access Series and the Alhsell Nordic Golf Tour with 133 players competing for a prize fund of 600,000 Swedish Kroner across two courses.
Simultaneously, the Cutter and Buck Tour will compete for an equal prize fund and play across the same two courses, Landeryds Masters and Landeryds Vasterby Links.
The Cutter and Buck Tour, operated by the Swedish Golf Federation, brings together all players across the Nordic region and is designed to help Swedish golfers to reach the standard of play needed to qualify for the DP World Tour or the HotelPlanner Tour.
This landmark event will be played across 72 holes of stroke play, with a cut to the top 45 LETAS professionals and ties after round 2.
Play begins on Wednesday the 25 June with half the field on each course. The men and women will play in alternate three balls.
We have some great Swedish talent in the tournament with 10 amateurs in the field inside the Top 500 on the Women’s Amateur Golf Rankings.
Also teeing it up is legendary Swedish golfer Catrin Nismark, a five-time Solheim Cup player who captained the winning team in 2003.
The former LPGA and LET player retired from tournament golf in 2018 but is looking forward to once again measuring her strength against the younger players and emphasizes the importance of showing that golf is a sustainable sport.
