This week’s CitizenGuard LETAS Trophy will feature 119 players from 28 different countries at Rinkven Golf Club in Gravenwezel, Belgium.
The parkland design of the Rinkven Golf Club, set just outside the city of Antwerp, will prove a challenging test for the players, with its testing approach shots and fast greens.
The field will include plenty of home grown talent, featuring a total of twenty Belgian players, including fourteen amateurs. Nine of the current top ten on the LET Access Series ranking will also be competing in the eighth event of the season. LETAS Order of Merit leader, Germany’s Isi Gabsa will be looking for her third win of the season and the opportunity to extend her lead.
Four of the top five players on the LETAS ranking have all won this season and 4th placed Kym Larratt will be hoping to make her breakthrough in Belgium this week.
The CitizenGuard LETAS Trophy will be contended over three rounds from Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th July. After 36 holes, there will be a cut to the leading 40 professionals and ties.
