SECOND ROUND SUSPENDED AT GOLF SAINT OMER

 The second round of the Hauts de France Pas de Calais Golf Open Resort has been suspended due to inclement weather.

Round two got underway at 8:15 am (local time) as scheduled at Golf Saint Omer but heavy rain started to fall, and play was suspended at 12:05pm.

After a delay of around five hours, due to heavy rainfall, it was decided that play has officially been suspended for the day with the second round to resume on Saturday morning at 8:15 am (local time).

Australia’s Kelsey Bennett continues to lead the field. After 12 holes, the 24-year-old currently sits on five-under-par.

The tournament has now officially been reduced from a 54-hole tournament to a 36-hole tournament with no cut.

The tournament will remain official with full prize money and Order of Merit points allocated.

A new draw will be published in the next hour.
