Switzerland’s Elena Moosmann is excited to return to the Rose Ladies Open where she finished runner-up in 2023, two shots behind fellow Swiss colleague and friend Chiara Tamburlini, the current LET’s Order of Merit leader.
It’s been a roller-coaster of a rookie season on the LET for Moosmann who after a strong start of two top 10 finishes and three top 20s has struggled to replicate these results in the latter half of the season.
Speaking ahead of this week, Moosmann said: “I’m excited to be back and to also see familiar faces. I think it’s good to be fun.
“I don’t want to put any pressure on this year though. I want to forget about it and focus on the new year and a new tournament.
“I’m keen to get some momentum back, last week was tough for me. But this week is all about trying new preparation routines, enjoying my golf and getting back some confidence.”
Moosmann graduated from LETAS last season after finishing the season in style with a win at the final event, Santander Golf Tour- Zaragoza.
Moosmann has been a name to watch since 2019 when she won her home tournament, the VP Bank Ladies Open at just 17-years-old as an amateur.
Having played a full season on LET this season, Moosmann has enjoyed every moment, but the year has not been without its struggles.
“I’ve loved the travelling this year, it’s amazing to just go to Australia to play for example. My golf game was a bit up and down.
“It’s either been very good or very bad. I’ve struggled with my consistency.
“But I love coming back to play on LETAS. To see familiar faces. I’m staying with the Swedes this week, in a big house so it’s going to be fun.”
Moosmann tees it up at 12:45 alongside Sweden’s Emma Thorngren and Spain’s Marina Escobar Domingo.
