Mireia Prat and Marta Figueras-Dotti
Barcelona’s Mireia Prat, who currently leads the LET Access Series Order of Merit, finished as one of the top players at the Disa Campeonato de España de profesionales femenino (DISA Spanish Women’s National Professional Championship) played at Costa Adeje in Tenerife last week. Prat finished tied for 4th with a total of 212 in the professional event, which was won by San Sebastian native Tania Elosegui, at 211.
Prat was also selected by a panel to receive the Marta Figueras-Dotti Scholarship, a initiative developed with the goal to help the comprehensive training of the top potential professional players in Spain.
The scholarship consists of the following:
– A minimum amount of 7,000 €
– A free management service offered by Deporte & Business
– Free coaching driven by Marta Figueras-Dotti, icon of Spanish professional golf and the tournament director of the DISA Spanish Women’s National Professional Championship.
The panel considered and recognised the professionalism of Mireia Prat in its broad sense (discipline, manners, image, personal effort and sports performance), all that have been clearly displayed throughout this season and shown in Prat’s strong performances on the LET Access Series during 2013.
