The Ladies European Tour is delighted to announce that the winner of La Nivelle Ladies Open, the first event on the 2010 LET Access Series, will receive a place in the Lalla Meryem Cup, a full field Ladies European Tour event, which takes place from 18-20th March 2010 at Royal Golf Anfa Mohammédia in Morocco.
The French Federation de Golf (FFG), who organise both La Nivelle Ladies Open and the Lalla Meryem Cup, will award the winner with a place in the field for Morocco. Should the winner be otherwise exempt, the invitation will be extended to the next highest player, provided that they are in either second or third positions.
The LET Access Series (LETAS) is the official feeder tour to the LET in 2010 and the top player on the 2010 LETAS Ranking will earn membership of the Ladies European Tour for the 2011 season.
The FFG are also offering the winner of the Ranking of the Generali Ladies Tour a place in the Open de France Féminin, which will take place from 9-12th September at Paris International Golf Club.
The two best French professionals will also be invited, along with the leading amateur and the best two French amateurs.
The winner of the Ranking Generali Ladies Tour, following the Dinard Ladies Open, will receive a bonus of €1,500, with €1000 for the player in second position and €500 for the player in third position. The leading French rookie will also receive €1,500.
The tournaments on the 2010 LETAS schedule initially are La Nivelle Ladies Open at Golf de la Nivelle near Biarritz, due to take place from 11-13 February; Terre Blanche Ladies Open at Golf de Terre Blanche near Nice, scheduled for 31 March-2 April and the Dinard Ladies Open, due to be played at Dinard Golf Club near Rennes from 15-17 April, each with prize money from €25,000 to €30,000.
