Getting to Know Nadine Dreher

Nadine Dreher from Austria returns as a member this year on the LET Access Series and turned professional in her first event at the VP Bank Ladies Open back in May. We get to know Nadine with a few quick questions…

Who is your favourite golfer?

Henrik Stenson and Ricky Fowler as I have caddied for him in the States as it was really fun to talk to him and get to know him, super nice person and not posh at all.

What’s your favourite club in your bag?

My 54 degree wedge because I can just do a lot of different shots with it and I like to be creative around the greens

What’s been your biggest golfing achievement of your career?

The runner up in the Team Championships in England in 2012 and we almost won against Spain – it was a fun week.

Which is your favourite golf course?

That’s a tough one I think its Harbour Town in Hilton Head in college it was a good course.

What is the one thing you could not live without?

Food, sweets and deserts I LOVE to eat.

Who do you most look up to?

My mum she’s my only parent we have a very close bond and she does a lot for me. Also, Lindsey Von the skier.

What is your favourite food?

I love steak medium cooked and if there is a side of shrimp that’s even better!

How would you spend your perfect day?

With Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson playing golf and then going out for a nice meal.

Your favourite city?

I really like Paris and the Eiffel Tower also Vienna my home town.

Describe yourself in one word?

Always fun to be around me.

What do you like doing besides playing golf?

I really like sports and working out, being at the lake water skiing and in the winter skiing on the slopes.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go?

Seychelles and the Maldives.

What’s your best golfing tip for a beginner?

Be patient.

Do you have any superstitions before a round?

Not really.

What is your most memorable sporting moment?

I like my hole in one I had at my old home club from 143 meters.

Do you listen to music before your round?

Sometimes not always for some reason, it has to be calming music.

What’s in your golf bag besides golf balls and clubs?

Food of course. I do have a horse shoe in my bag from my uncle for luck.

What are your goals for 2017?

Making some more cuts, top threes and the best a win.
