Krista Bakker
Finland´s Krista Bakker became a first time winner on the LET Access Series, claiming the 2015 CreditGate24 GolfSeries Hamburg Open title. The Finn enjoyed a solid season, finishing 5th on the LETAS Order of Merit and claiming her LET playing rights for 2016. Krista answers some quick questions…

What advice would you give to aspiring amateurs looking to turn professional?
Always believe in yourself and try to be very confident on the course.
Do you like cooking?
Yes I like cooking. Tortillas are my favourite. It’s delicious and easy to do.

Tell us something you hate doing?
I hate doing the dishes and cleaning up my room. It takes too much time.

On the LPGA Tour
What has been you biggest golfing achievement?
Our Finnish team won a bronze medal in the World Ladies Amateur Team Championships. (2nd in the individual scores)
What is your favourite golf course to play and why?
It’s in my home town Turku, Aura Golf. I have some good memories from there.
Do you have any superstitions before playing golf?
No
Age you started playing golf?
I started to play when I was 9. My dad is a golf professional so I have spent a lot of time with him on the golf course.

10 years old

67(-5) in the LETAS Creditgate24 GolfSeries Hamburg Open last season in July.

Putter
What’s in your golf bag apart from clubs and golf balls?
Umbrella, a towel, balls, tees and water.

Omega Dubai Ladies Masters
If you could pick a dream four-ball partner who would it be and why?
Tiger Woods. I think it would be fun and I would learn a lot from him.
