EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE MADAEF GOLFS LADIES OPEN

Morocco

The second event of the 2025 LET Access Series (LETAS) is upon us and it’s a historic week with the Tour competing outside of Europe for the first time.

Morocco is the host country for this week’s Madaef Golfs Ladies Open by Saidia Resorts, which is taking place at Golf Lacs Saidia.

A field of 96 players will be teeing it up in the 54-hole stroke play competition between 25-27 April, and there will be a cut to the top 45 professionals and ties at the 36-hole mark.

The Lacs course was the first golf course to be opened in Saidia, Morocco and was designed by Spanish architect Francisco Ségales to give pride of place to water obstacles.

Built in the image of championship courses in the United States, the course will provide a great test to LETAS players competing this week.

There are 28 nationalities represented in the field of 96 players including two Moroccans Lina Belmati and Malak Bouraeda.

Denmark’s Amalie Leth-Nissen, who won the LETAS season-opener in Terre Blanche, will be hoping for more success in Morocco.

Switzerland’s Natalie Armbruester, who sits second in the LETAS Order of Merit, is competing this week as is Finland’s Elina Saksa, who leads the Rookie of the Year standings.

A total of 10 Tour winners are competing this week with 19 rookies teeing it up at Golf Lacs Saidia.

Two pairs of sisters will also be teeing it up in Morocco with Amalie Leth-Nissen joined by her sister Cecilie, as well as England’s Lianna and Jessica Bailey.

The Madaef Golfs Ladies Open by Saidia Resorts begins on Friday 25 April and will conclude on Sunday 27 April.
