EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT Q TOUR-HIMMERLAND

LETAS

This week marks LETAS’ return to Denmark to a highly anticipated new event, the Q-Tour Himmerland Championship Presented by Sand Spedition.

127 players will tee it up at HimmerLand across three rounds of golf for a prize fund of €50,000.

The HimmerLand Resort is proud to host the event this week, and the course is exemplary having hosted the DP World Tour for eight years previously.

HimmerLand is northern Europe’s largest golf resort comprising of 45 holes and extensive practice facilities.

The signature hole is the 16th. Known as HimmerLand Hill, the short par-three 16th, has seen several holes-in-one since it first hosted a DP World Tour event in 2014. So, here’s hoping we see some ace play this week on it.

23 nationalities are in the field this week including 24 Danish players hoping for a home win.

A lot of LET Danish talent are in the field this week with 2023’s LETAS Order of Merit winner Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen, Cecilie Finne-Ipsen and last year Danish graduate Natacha Host Husted all teeing it up again.

Our LETAS Order of Merit leader Amalie Leth-Nissen will also be vying for her second win this season on home soil.

A lot of Danish amateur talent is set to compete with PING Junior Solheim Cup star Marie Madsen and Cecilie Eggersen to hold their own against the professionals.

Also making an exciting return to a LETAS competition is Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjall who won last year’s LETAS Order of Merit after winning two events in her home country.

Arwefjall has had a promising rookie season on the LET with two top five finishes. The Swedish star currently sits 19th on the LET’s Order of Merit.

The Q-Tour HimmerLand Championship begins on Thursday July 31 and concludes on Saturday 2 August.
