Seventy-eight players will gather for the final event of the LETAS season at the Santander Golf Tour LETAS El Saler, near Valencia in Spain, between the 25th – 27th October.
The event, which also forms part of the Santander Golf Tour, will include the top LETAS players for the year with Order of Merit leader Meghan Maclaren and Charlotte Thompson heading the field.
Maclaren is enjoying a stellar season, winning the Azores Ladies Open in April, finishing runner-up at the Belfius Ladies Open, where the 23-year-old lost in a play-off to Scot Heather Macrae, and posting a further two top three finishes at the VP Bank Ladies Open in Switzerland and the Castellum Ladies Open, earlier this month.
Thompson is just a few points behind 2nd placed Valentine Derrey of France, in the rankings. The Englishwoman came close to winning her first LETAS event at the EVLI Ladies Finnish Open, where she finished in a tie for second place behind Ursula Wikstrom.
The top five players at the end of the year will be exempt to play the season on the Ladies European Tour in 2018. The next 15 players who are not otherwise exempt, will earn a place to the final stage of the Lalla Aicha Tour School, scheduled during December in Morocco.
