Norway’s Tonje Daffinrud will compete in this week’s LET Access Series event, which takes place at Drobak Golf Club, near Oslo from the 11 – 13 August. Daffinrud will be joined by eleven fellow Norwegians in the 123 player field.
The 24-year-old from Tonsberg, currently lying 11th on the LETAS Order of Merit, will be looking to secure her third LETAS title after winning both the Azores Ladies Open and Grecotel Amirandes Ladies Open in 2014, to secure her card for the 2015 season on the Ladies European Tour.
Daffinrud is joined in the field by current LETAS Order of Merit leader, Maria Parra of Spain, Scotland’s Michele Thomson and Spain’s Luna Sobron, who make up the top three in the ranking. Play gets underway at 8.00am on Thursday morning.
At the close of the 2016 LETAS season, the top five players on the 2016 Ranking will earn membership of the Ladies European Tour while players in sixth to 20th positions will have the opportunity to progress to the final stage of Lalla Aicha Tour School for 2016.
