Clyburn and Taylor lead in Morocco

England’s Holly Clyburn and Emily Taylor are tied for the lead after the second round of the Lalla Aicha Tour School in Marrakech, Morocco.

Taylor, playing the Amelkis course on Friday, was bogey free for a second day, picking up birdies on the fourth and ninth to be out in 34, with a further two birdies on the back nine for a round of 68, 4 under par.

Clyburn, a recent winner on the LET Access Series, followed up an opening 72 on day one, with a very impressive 65, 7 under par, playing the Al Maaden course. Clyburn also bogey free, was out in 4 under, 32 and a further three birdies on the back nine, bringing her home in 33.

Jacqueline Hedwall, whose twin sister, Caroline is currently lying in a tie for 7th at the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters, shot a second round 71 to be tied in third place at 7 under par with fellow Swede Julia Davidsson.
