Bringner carded five birdies and one bogey and climbed up from tied sixth to the top of the leaderboard.
The leader said: “It was a little bit windy today, so the key was to keep it straight from the tee and I managed to do that. It feels good to be at the top of the leaderboard this week again. Feels good to see that all of my work has paid so far! I am looking forward to tomorrow and just going to do my thing. Take it shot by shot, and hope for the best.”
The San José State University student sits solo in second place, one stroke behind the leader heading into the final round.
“Fun to be out there today again, although I did not play as good as yesterday and had to fight more to get the ball in the hole. The strongest part of my game today was my putter on the long putts,” she said.
“It’s always fun to be in the last group especially because it adds some extra nerves to the round. I’m just going to go out there tomorrow and do what I love and see what happens.”
Sharing third place on four-under-par is another Swedish duo, amateur Linn Grant and Ellinor Haag.
Defending champion Grant shot one-under-par 72 making 17 pars and one birdie – in both rounds, she carded only one bogey, rolled in five birdies and made 30 pars. While Haag shot three-under 70 yesterday and one-under 72 today.
“My game from tee to green is very solid but I struggled on the greens. It was a pretty boring round actually. I had some birdie chances that I missed, otherwise my game was pretty solid,” said Grant.
Haag commented: “Today was a solid day on the course for me, I had a tough finish but overall played steady and gave myself some good opportunities. I’m looking forward to tomorrow, sticking to my game plan and hoping that the weather will be better than the forecast.”
As well as twelve Swedish players entering the final round from a top-10 position, Swiss amateur Elena Moosmann is T5 on -3, and South Korea’s Nayeon Eum is T10 with other players.
