The afternoon shootout saw Bringner shine on the back nine when she clinched her maiden LETAS win on the 15th hole by 4&3.
Bringner said: “It was a good and steady day today. Steady from the tee, into the green and I dropped a few putts as well, so it was nice. It means a lot for me to win here in Sweden. This is my first professional win and I’m very glad for that.”
On her way to securing her first professional win, the 24-year-old placed T7 in the qualifier with a total of 65 points.
In the round of last 16, she beat Norway’s Celine Brovold Sanne on the 19th hole, then won 2&1 over fellow Swede Sara Ericsson in quarterfinals before defeating another Swedish player –Magnusson – on the 18th hole in the semi-finals.
Runner-up Caroline Rominger produced a great performance in Sweden as she also placed T7 in the qualifier.
The Swiss player then defeated Spain’s Piti Martinez Bernal in the last 16, Sweden’s Ellinor Haag in quarterfinals, and another Swede Vidén in the semi-finals.
Rominger said: “I think I actually played my best yesterday. This morning it was good as well, I made some birdies but couldn’t hole the putts in the afternoon. Sofie played really well and made a lot of birdies, so I didn’t have a chance to win but we still made it to the 15th. I had an amazing day, it’s been great to be here, and the course is very nice, too.”
