On a high scoring final day, Kajsa Arwefjall avoided a playoff by making a birdie on the 18th in triumphant fashion to finish on three-under-par and secure her second win this season.
The Swedish star, who got off to a hot start with a birdie on the first, spent the whole of the final day neck and neck alongside newly turned professional the USA’s Brianna Navarrosa.
Yet the former world champion rope skipper battled until the end to secure her second win this season, her third on LETAS.
Speaking about the final round, Arwefjall said: “I’m super excited! It’s so fun to win a second time. Usually in golf you don’t win a lot and to do it twice in my home country is very special.
“Today was quite windy so it made it harder to score. In general, I feel like my game was decent and the wind really made the course harder.
“I’m not around next week, so the plan is to take a week off and get even stronger before England.”
The 2024 MoreGolf Mastercard Open champion, who had her mum on the bag, now leads the LETAS Order of Merit for the first time over Germany’s Helen Briem by 167.50 points.

“It’s always fun to have my mum as a caddy. My mum and dad now have a competition. My dad has caddied me when I’ve won twice, and my mum only had a second place. So, she finally got her win.”
Arwefjall also had an extra bonus this week by winning the Ahlsell Nordic Golf Tour Order of Merit which came with 30,000 SEK.
“It was a hurry to catch the ferry so I will just celebrate with my family when I get back home. I think I will also celebrate by buying myself a digital camera because I’ve wanted one for such a long time!”
The USA’s Brianna Navarrossa finished second on one-under-par, the only other player to finish under par.
Four players tied for third on par: the Netherland’s Romy Meekers, Norway’s Tina Mazarino, Italian amateur Alessia Nobilio and France’s Ariane Klotz.
Four players tied for seventh on one-over-par; Swedish amateur Nathalie Borg, the Netherland’s Lauren Holmey and two Ole Miss Graduates, Andrea Lignell and Natacha Host Husted.
The latter shot the best round of the day, three-under-par.
Arwefjall has decided to take a week off during the Slovak Golf Ladies Open and prepare for the next stretch of events starting with a two-week swing in England.
The Slovak Golf Ladies Open is the first women’s professional event in Slovakia for 10 years and will be held at TALE Ski Golf and Hotel Resort between August 22-24th.
