In 2024, Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjall had a fantastic year on LETAS. During the Swedish stretch of events, Arwefjall dominated the LETAS Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year lists.
With a red-hot putter and great striking skills, Arwefjall finished in the top five a staggering amount and never missed a cut to earn her LET card.
This week we are delighted to see her name in a LETAS field once again as she takes advantage of a major week on the LET.
Speaking about her goals for the week, Arwefjall said: “I’m just going to go out there and have fun. I want to use this week as practice and try new skills.
“The views on this course are amazing. It is in great condition, but it is tough. It’s a long course. You must hit it straight and hit good long irons.”
Arwefjall has got off to a hot start on the LET. The 25-year-old from Tranas has made three top 10 finishes and only missed three cuts.
“It’s been great so far. I’ve always wanted to travel to Australia and South Africa. So that was very fun. I’m enjoying the travel and meeting new friends.
“It’s always nice to see your game trending. I’m enjoying it. LETAS was a great step before the LET.”
Arwefjall has no expectations for the week except enjoying the game.
“This week I want to have fun because it sounds cliché but if you are having fun, you are playing better.”
The Swede is teeing it up at 13:08 local time alongside the current LETAS Order of Merit leader Dane Amalie Leth-Nissen and Australia’s’ Justice Bosio.
Speaking about Amalie’s performance so far this season, Arwefjall said: “She’s playing great, because of that she doesn’t actually have too much pressure on her which I think is a nice position to be in.”
The Q-Tour Himmerland Championship begins on Thursday July 31 and concludes on Saturday 2 August.
