A Quick 18 with Galina Rotmistrova

Russia’s Galina Rotmistrova was born in Moscow and started to play golf at the age of eight. Galina finished 13th on the LETAS Order of Merit in 2012 with her best finish coming in the Dinard Ladies Open, where she finished in a tie for 11th.

1. Tell me something most people don’t know about you? I started to play golf because of my sister

2. What would you like to do for a living if you are not a pro golfer? Actually, I would like to stay home and doing nothing… or snowboarding and dancing

3. Education? Which University and degree? I graduated in Warsaw and it was a degree in teaching. I could teach in a school

4. How many and which languages do you speak? Russian and English

5. Who would be in your dream foursome? Sofia Harkonen, Tiger Wood and Rory McIlroy

6. What is your favourite activity you do when you want to relax? Go to the cinema, laying on the sofa, books…

7. Do you have a favourite TV commercial or series? Gossip Girl

8. What invention do you wish you had thought of? I Phone

9. Favourite gift you have received and from who? My best gift is the time that my friends give me and my Iphone, from my sister

10. What’s your favourite tradition from your country you love doing? I like New Year’s Eve, with my family… we eat Russion salads

11. And favourite expression from your country? Krudam…. which means “Cool!!”

12. Is there a song that you like to sing when no one is around, like in the car or the shower? I do not like to sing, but lately I am singing “Diamonds” by Rihanna

13. What is your favourite store to shop in and why? Massimo Dutti (Spanish brand). I like the style

14. What beauty product can you not live without? My daily cream

15. What is your favorite time of year? Winter
