Getting to Know Therese Nerpin

Sweden’s Therese Nerpin has competed on the LET Access Series since 2012, with her best result at this season’s Lavaux Ladies Championship where the 23-year-old finished in a tie for 2nd place. We get to know Therese with a few quick questions…

Who is your favourite golfer?

Dustin Johnson

What’s your favourite club in your bag?

I love them all, but my putter is my new best friend

What’s been your biggest golfing achievement of your career?

It would have to be my T2 place at the Lavaux Ladies Championship in 2018

Which is your favourite golf course?

I have played so many nice courses but right now I have to say Golf de Lavaux just because I love Switzerland!

What is the one thing you could not live without?

It’s a bad habit but, coffee. 

What is your favourite food?

Salmon pasta, or any pasta really haha..

Who do you most look up to?

My boyfriend, such a great person. I owe him a lot 🙂 

How would you spend your perfect day?

At a beautiful golf course on a warm summer’s day. I would end the day in front of the TV watching the TV show ‘How I Met Your Mother’ with some nice salmon pasta, my boyfriend and just chilling. I really like the sound of that!

Your favourite city?

Antwerp, so cosy!

Describe yourself in one word?

Clumsy

What do you like doing besides playing golf?

Drawing, like paintings. It’s something I would want to work in if I didn’t play golf

If you could travel anywhere where would you go?

London probably, always wanted to go and have not had the time yet

What is your most memorable sporting moment?

Making a hole in one at the European Universities Golf Championship in 2015

What’s your best golfing tip for a beginner?

Have fun and the results will come, and if they don’t remember that ,you at least had fun

Do you have any superstitions before a round?

Not really, if only I get my coffee everything is good

What’s in your golf bag besides golf balls and clubs?

A chalk line for putting practice, a notebook for thoughts and of course some food

What are your goals for 2018?

Finish top 20 on the LET Access Series Order of Merit and get a category on the Ladies European Tour from Q-school in December.
