Rochelle Morris from Huddersfield in Yorkshire, is a new member for the 2018 season. Rochelle had a great amateur career with one of her highlights, competing in the 2016 Curtis Cup representing GB&I. We get to know Rochelle with a few quick questions…
Who is your favourite golfer?
My favourite golfer is Tiger Woods.
What’s your favourite club in your bag?
My Ping redwood putter which I’ve had since I was 14.
What’s been your biggest golfing achievement of your career?
Biggest golfing achievement would have to be representing GB&I in the Curtis Cup in 2016.
What’s your favourite golf course?
My favourite golf course would have to be Moortown in Leeds.
What is the one thing you could not live without?
I couldn’t live without my phone.
What is your favourite food?
My favourite food has to be pizza.
How would you spend your perfect day?
I’d spend a perfect day at the beach chilling out.
Your favourite city?
My favourite Ccty would have to be Barcelona, I love it there!
Describe yourself in one word?
Easy-going.
What do you like doing besides playing golf?
I love to work out in the gym and I like to have a good balance, so I make lots of time to go out with family and friends.
If you could travel anywhere where would you go?
I would go to Thailand as I’ve never been but would love to experience it.
What’s your best golfing tip for a beginner?
To always go back to basics and keep your eye on the ball.
Do you have any superstitions before a round?
I always have superstitions with the numbered ball I play with, always has to be an odd number.
What’s in your golf bag besides golf balls and clubs?
My golf bag always has lip balm, resistance bands, a notepad, and a bag of nuts to snack on.
What are your goals for 2018?
My goals for 2018 are to go back to LET Q school and gain my full card for next year.
