Sweden’s My Leander has started the 2018 LETAS strongly with two top twenty finishes in her first three events. The Swede plans to play on both the LET and LETAS during this year. My answered some quick questions for us…
Who is your favourite golfer?

Which is your favourite golf course?
Kapalua Bay in Hawaii.
What is the one thing you could not live without?
Every kind of food.
Who do you most look up to?
My brother. He is three years older than me. He is a good student and very ambitious.

Golf in the morning, enjoying time with friends in the afternoon and reading a book in the evening, I prefer crime novels.
Which is your favourite city?
I like Paris or Rome.
Describe yourself in one word?
Positive.
What do you like doing besides playing golf?

In college I shot a -7 (65) and could finish this tournament with a birdie at the last hole.
What’s your best golfing tip for a beginner?
Take it easy, don’t try to hit it too far.
Do you have any superstitions before a round?
No, I try to keep myself away from superstitions. Anything that happens before a round is fine anyways. I don’t have a lucky charm neither; because if I would forget it at home I would feel bad for no special reason.
What do you have in your golf bag besides golf clubs?
Food (bananas and bars), car, keys, phone and always rain jacket, especially when I play in Sweden.
What are your goals for 2018?
Playing many events on the LET Access Series and hopefully some on the LET. Another goal is reaching the top 400, so I don’t need to qualify for the first stage of LPGA Tour School.
