Alice Plumb from England is a new member for the 2018 season. Last year Alice competed at the WPGA International Challenge, receiving an invite from England Golf and has a top five finish on the LET Access Series OOM as her goal. We get to know Alice with a few quick questions…
Who is your favourite golfer?
Annika Sorenstam.
What’s your favourite club in your bag?
Even though my driver is the best behaved. I have a soft spot for my putter.
What’s been your biggest golfing achievement of your career?
Winning the Liphook Scratch Cup in 2017.
Which is your favourite golf course?
I really love Sunningdale.
What is the one thing you could not live without?
Chocolate.
Who do you most look up to?
My Mum and Dad.
What is your favourite food?
My Mum’s mashed potato.
How would you spend your perfect day?
A round of golf and then games night with my family.
Your favourite city?
Reykjavik, Iceland.
Describe yourself in one word?
Thoughtful.
What do you like doing besides playing golf?
Gym, shopping, movies & spending time with my family.
If you could travel anywhere where would you go?
Lake Moraine, Canada.
What’s your best golfing tip for a beginner?
Be patient.
Do you have any superstitions before a round?
No.
What is your most memorable sporting moment?
When me and my playing partner had a hole in one, on the same hole, in the same group, on the same day.
Do you listen to music before your round?
Depends if I remember my headphones.
What’s in your golf bag besides golf balls and clubs?
I have a Eeyore keyring that has been on my golf bag for nearly 15 years.
What are your goals for 2018?
To qualify top 5 on the LET Access Series Order Of Merit.
