Marion Duvernay
A field of 99 players will take part in the NordicTrack Open de Strasbourg at Golf de Strasbourg in France, from September 22 – 24 this week.
The field of players includes competitors from 27 different countries. Players to watch include France’s Marion Duvernay, Jenny Haglund from Sweden and Spain’s Luna Sobron, who have all won on LETAS this year.
Duvernay won the Ribeira Sacra Patrimonio de la Humanidad International Ladies Open in Spain, Haglund was victorious in the Norrporten Ladies Open in Sweden, and Sobron claimed the Terre Blanche Ladies Open at the beginning of the season in France.
They are joined by Austria’s Sarah Schober, Charlotte Thompson from England and Scotland’s Michele Thomson, who occupy 2nd, 3rd and 5th place on the 2016 LETAS Order of Merit.
At the close of the 2016 LETAS season, the top five players on the 2016 Ranking will earn membership of the Ladies European Tour, while players in sixth to 20th positions will have the opportunity to progress to the final stage of Lalla Aicha Tour School for 2017.
