Maria Parra
Spain’s Maria Parra continued her strong form this season with an opening round of 4 under par, 66, to tie with Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen and Csilla Lajtai-Rosza of Hungary, at the Drobak Ladies Open in Norway.
Parra currently leads the LETAS Order of Merit by just over 1,000 points from her closest challenger, Scotland’s Michele Thomson and will be hoping to extend her lead in the rankings with another solid performance this week.
Six players, Denmark’s Daisy Nielsen, Sarah Schober of Austria, France’s Emilie Piquot, Manon de Roey from Belgium, England’s Gabrielle Cowley and Norway’s Ceceile Lundgreen are all tied for 4th place at three under par.
