Back To Back Wins for Gabsa

Germany´s Isi Gabsa won the Drobak Ladies Open with a final round 67 and a 6 under par total, to record her second win on the LET Access Series.

The 19-year-old won last week´s PGA Halmstad Ladies Open by Haverdal in Sweden and her back-to-back wins have taken the third year professional to the top of the LETAS Order of Merit with 12,922.50 points.

Gabsa has produced some impressive golf over the last few weeks and rounded off the final day with six birdies and three bogeys.

Spain’s Natalia Escuriola recorded the joint low round of the day, 66, four under par, to finish in 2nd position with a total of 206. The Spanish amateur is having a stellar season with three top 3 finishes in four events.

Sweden’s Lina Boqvist finished in a tie for third position at 3 under par, 207, alongside Austria’s Christine Wolf and Spain’s Luna Sobron.

Michele Thomson (69) from Scotland and Englishwoman Kym Larratt (72) tied for 6th place, with Norway’s Cecilie Lundgreen (70) and Johanna Gustavsson (71) in a tie for 8th.

The LET Access Series will visit France in a week’s time for the Open Generali de Strasbourg, which takes place at Golf Club de Strasbourg from the 11 – 13 June.

At the close of the 2015 LETAS season, the top five players on the 2015 Ranking will earn membership of the Ladies European Tour while players in sixth to 20th positions will have the opportunity to progress to the final stage of Lalla Aicha Tour School for 2016.
