Krista Bakker
Krista belongs to the group of nine members of the Ladies European Tour from Finland and is now the only rookie coming from this country. Krista made her Ladies European Tour debut this season at the Lalla Meryem Cup after achieving category 8a through the Lalla Aicha Tour School Final Qualifying.
We asked her to write few paragraphs to describe her first experiences in the LET and this is what she told us:
Hi everyone! I’m 20 years old rookie from Finland. I got a full card for this season in qschool in Morocco. Really happy to start my proffessional career.
My first tournament was in Morocco. Really loved the Ocean golfcourse. It was great weather to play. And the organisation was very good, enjoyed it how everything worked out well. I also think the rookie session was very important. It’s more than just the tour. It’s nice to meet and get to know new people.
Unfortunately I missed the cut by 4 shots. I was hitting good, but had some problems with putting. But enjoyed every moment and now time to work things what needs to get better and will be stronger in next tournament.
My next tournament is in Turkey in may. Before that i will go for training camp to Spain and also practice at home in Finland. Looking forward to my next tournament.
