Fresh from winning her first professional title at last week’s MoreGolf Mastercard Open, Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjall is searching for a second.

Last Saturday, Arwefjall stole the show after a strong final round and after celebrating at a friends graduation dinner the Swedish star is refreshed and ready for another week on tour.

“I was very happy and excited to get my first win as a professional back home in Sweden and now I get to play the next event in Sweden, it’s going to be very fun.

“I’m excited for what’s to come this week. I mean everyone wants to do a back-to-back win but it’s not something that I think of.

“I will go out there and just try to play as good golf as I can. I’ve been playing pretty well so I would love to do it back-to-back, but I will just go out there and have fun because I love playing and the competition.

“I will chat with my playing partners and have fun and play some good golf and we’ll see what comes of it.”

Arwefjall who turned professional just over a month ago has impressed with her first three starts on LETAS.

With two top five finishes and one win, the 24-year-old sits second on the LETAS Order of Merit with 965 points.

Now the former world champion rope skipper is excited to play on new territory.

“Albatross is a course I’ve never played before. It’s not too far away from where we played last week but I still have never played it.

“So, I’m excited to see what it’s like. I’ve heard it has some hills in it and some tricky holes but I’m sure it will be a great course to play on.

“I just got back from playing nine holes there and it looks great.

“The greens are rolling fast and smooth so I’m excited for that we’ll see what this week will bring.”

Arwefjall start her campaign for two consecutive wins at 1:34pm local time alongside fellow Swede Anna Magnusson and England’s Jae Bowers.
