SALORT EXCITED FOR SECOND TOURNAMENT AT HOME

France’s Chloe Salort is excited to start the next swing of tournaments in her home country.

In 2022 Salort finished the top ranked French player in her rookie season and this year is looking to finish top seven on the LETAS Order of Merit to secure an LET card for 2025.

“It’s great to start off the season with two events in France.

“I like this tournament a lot. It’s great to be in Montauban again.

“This week I will need to bring my water,” Salort joked, “because of the heat, but in serious I’m looking for consistency and finishing the week towards the top of the leaderboard.”

In 2023 Salort had two consistent rounds of 71 before struggling on her final round, shooting 79 but is keen to leave those memories behind and focus on making new ones.

“The greens this year are in such good shape. It’s the kind of course where anyone can win so it will be challenging and exciting.”

“My caddy Jean is on the bag this week which will help to keep me calm. If I have any doubt about a shot, he will cast it away.

“I’m expecting it to be a fun week.”

Salort starts her Montauban campaign at 9:50am alongside Nina Pegova and Sweden’s Amanda Linner.
