2025 IN STROKES GAINED

Lira

2025 has been a phenomenal year for the LET Access Series (LETAS).

After 19 hotly contested events, 17 different winners crowned and seven worthy LETAS graduates announced, 2025 is without doubt the strongest year LETAS has seen.

Whilst three great rounds to get the win is impressive, an entire year of consistency is much more astonishing.

For those who are golf geeks and enjoy the stats, a look at the strokes gained data for the year tells us exactly who is dominating which area of the game on Tour.

LETAS’ continued partnership with UpGame, the market leader for golf analytics apps, allows us to take a deep dive into the statistics for the 2025 season.

In case you didn’t know, total strokes gained is a statistic which allows players to see where they rank based on the average number of strokes per round that the player was better or worse than the field average.

The data also allows you to see where players gain the most strokes on the field when they’re playing and there are categories based on driving, approach and putting.

So, without further ado let’s look at who finished as the leaders in each category.

Total Strokes Gained

Among the players who competed in more than one tournament, one athlete stood head and shoulders above the rest.

The steady and reliable Czech player Patricie Mackova tops the table with an average strokes gained per round score of 3.58.

Mackova enjoyed a brilliant breakout season this year, recording seven consecutive top 10 finishes before an injury sustained while running threatened her chances of securing LET status for 2026.

However, the young Czech showed remarkable resilience, bouncing back to claim her first professional victory at the penultimate event of the season, the Lavaux Ladies Open to secure one of seven coveted LET cards.

Total Driving Strokes Gained

South Korea’s Nayeon Eum led the field off the tee, gaining 1.68 strokes on the field per round.

Our 2021 Vasteras Open champion took a break from the European circuit but came back this year and played eight events on LETAS.

Laura’s top finish was tied 15th at the AMUNDI Czech Ladies Challenge.

Total Approach Strokes Gained

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it was second-ranked Fernanda Lira who topped the approach category, gaining an impressive 2.41 strokes on the field.

Mexico’s Lira has had a phenomenal year on LETAS which included three LETAS wins.

It was a steady start for the 30-year-old, but after a top five at the Vasteras Open, Lira found her game to clinch two successive victories at the Islantilla Open and the Q-Tour Himmerland Championship.

The Islantilla Open was the highest winning margin this year of six strokes.

At the Hauts de France Pas de Calais Lira joined the exclusive hat-trick club by defeating Iceland’s Ragga Kristinsdottir in a three-hole playoff. It was a win that cemented Lira’s LET card.

Total Putting Strokes Gained

The top performer on the greens was 21-year-old amateur Harmonie Yin of Cambodia, who led the putting category with 2.17 strokes gained.

Yin enjoyed her best season to date, recording three top 10 finishes and ending the year ranked 57th, earning her playing privileges for next season.
